Senior Spotlight: Blake Allison

“I'm most proud of having a winning record at number one singles for two years in a row. And I'm proud of my team for having a winning record this year,” says Riley Senior Tennis Captain, Blake Allison.

Blake has put much time and energy into all four years of his tennis career at Riley, often practicing many hours over the summers, weekends, and taking lessons. He is one of the best players in the city with a winning record in singles. Blake is super proud of his team even over the past year with the pandemic, which he expressed has made team bonding a lot more difficult and stressful due to the uncertainties of quarantine protocol.

He has seen many improvements in himself and the team through the course of the season despite the challenges they have faced. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to tennis Blake and to all the senior tennis players.
