I wonder if Steve Jobs thought that his little company Apple would end up becoming a streaming service. Welcome back wildcats, today we'll be looking at-you guessed it—Apple TV+, as well as Apple music. Well, let's get into it!

First up, we have our trending show. Severance stars Adam Scott (aka the lovable Ben from Parks and Rec) as Mark, who's an office supervisor in a world where work life and home life are truly separate. This sci-fi dystopian drama looks incredibly well done, and with a director like legend Ben Stiller, it has to be good.

Next, let's talk movies.

Apple's streaming service is no stranger to finding good programming when it comes to films. I'm going to talk about two, one that s a bit newer, and one that came out all the way back in April 2020. Most people have heard of the Beastie Boys. Apple TV did a documentary movie about the Beastie boys called Beastie Boys Story. The two living members talked about their friendships and their band, on a very personal level. If you're feeling like it's time to get ill, then you should definitely check this one out.

A much more recent film, released only two months ago, Luck is definitely a feel-good family film. This cartoon is about a girl named Sam, who is the unluckiest person in the world. Suddenly, she has to go on an adventure with magical creatures in the Land-of-Luck to turn her own luck back around for the better. It genuinely looks like such a cute movie, and it'll absolutely make you smile, and laugh at just how unlucky Sam is.

And now, the moment we've all been waiting for. One of the top songs on Apple Music is... “Unholy,” by Sam Smith and Kim Petras. If you haven't heard this song yet, I'd be extremely surprised. A snippet from the chorus has blown up as a popular audio on Tik Tok in the past few weeks. There are plenty of songs on the market about things like infidelity, but I can't think of one that gets stuck in your head like “Unholy” does.

There you have it. Apple TV+ and Apple Music have no shortage of good shows, movies, and music to enjoy. If you want a quick season to binge that still has all the intensity you crave, make sure to check out Severance. If you want a nice, cute, and funny film to watch with the whole family, check out Luck. If you're more of the documentary type, or you like the music of the Beastie Boys, then you should absolutely check out Beastie Boys Story. And of course, if you want to hear one of the latest and greatest songs that have seemed to explode, make sure you look at “Unholy” by Sam Smith and Kim Petras.

There's your current Apple trends. See you next time, when I'll dive into the excitement Hulu has to offer, as well as looking at YouTube Music.
