What’s Trending: 2022 Wrapped Special!

Welcome back Wildcats! This week, instead of looking at our favorite streaming services and what they have to offer, I had a different idea. Let’s find out what you guys were listening to this year! I asked quite a few people their top artist and song from their Spotify/Apple Music Wrapped, and I’m here to share some of them with you.

My survey showed a very diverse music taste. From Set It Off to Playboi Carti, to The Neighborhood, you guys have a lot of different tastes. A testament to just how different your tastes are is the fact that out of the thirty five people polled, the only answer two people had in common was Morgan Wallen being their top artist.

It was also interesting to see some artists that don’t get a lot of mainstream attention popping up in your wrappeds! Tyler Marek shared his top song, which was The Bidding by Tally Hall (who are severely underrated, seriously go check them out). Another student’s top song was Washing Machine Heart by Mitski. A third student’s top artist was Joji.

Some people showed off an older taste, like Sara Vilchis, who’s top artist was Fleetwood Mac. Another student’s top artist was the King himself, Elvis.
