The Final Scores (and some doodles)
The Riley Readers Book Club had their annual competition on April 28th. Five teams competed, answering trivia-style questions on the books they read over the past school year. The winning team (deemed Leslie +others) made up of sophomore Leslie O’Brien, and seniors Ealin Kubicki and Robert Banaseiwicz won, only missing 3 total questions out of the 100 that were asked. They each received a Visa gift card as a prize. Leslie also read all 12 books on the list, as did sophomore Madison Morey. This was one of, if not the biggest year for the book club when it comes to attendance. As someone who has been in the club for all four years of high school, I can confidently say that this year saw more students stick with it than ever before.
